STEVEN GLAZER - Senior Coach & Executive Director

Besides Lionel Geller, no person has given more time to the league as a volunteer than Steven Glazer. A perpetual  workhorse, who takes on many jobs within the league which includes representing NDG Baseball in most official capacities and coaching sometimes two teams. Steve has been the leagues longest running President and/or Executive Director in the leagues history with five years of service. 2014 will be Steve's sixth year in this capacity. As such, Steve has announced that by the end of 2014, he will be stepping down from the board of directors as an executive director. The leagues hopes Steve will continue on with the league on as a competitive coach after the 2014 season.

For a first year team at the Junior level the team did very well, finishing with a combined 3 & 4 record. In the round-robin the Junior Lynx lost a close game to there Ontario rival 8-7 and to Atlantic 4-1. A win in both games would of had them playing in the semi-finals against favored British Columbia, however it was not to be.

At the end of the tournament, the team was awarded the coveted Joe Shea Award for Sportsmanship. An award that made Steve Glazer and his coaching staff of Darren Deveaux and Adam Kinnear very proud.
