Championship Game
Summary
NDG 8
Victoriaville 0
The Senior Lynx
beat Victoriaville 8-0 before a large crowd of supporters at
Trudeau Park in Cote St. Luc. Remel Cris-Ong and Jeremi Roch
combined to pitch a three hitter. Remel Cris-Ong got himself
into a jam in the fifth inning by loading the bases with nobody
out but was able to settle down and get a force out at home for
one out, pick off a runner at third for the second out and
strike out their number three batter for the third out of the
inning.
Offensively for the Lynx,
Jonathan Pendenza drove the ball two times for a pair of doubles
for two runs batted in and Danillo Cardoza had a timely hit to
drive in two runs.
The Senior Lynx are now off
to Oakville, ON on Thursday to the Canadian Nationals. Schedules
for all National tournaments (Major, Junior, & Senior) will be
placed on NDG's the main web page within the next few days.

The Lynx
finished first in the pool of four teams and will meet the
winner of the suspended game, which will be played tomorrow
between Victoriaville and Brossard.
Pitchers Mark Byer and
Danillo Cardonza combined to pitch a five inning no-hitter.
Offensively Mark Byer helped himself out going five-for-five
with two triples, two doubles, and a single, while driving in
six runs and scoring three.

Jeremi
Doyon-Roch and David Fitzsimmons combined to pitch a one hit
shut-out over Victoriaville.
Offensively for the Lynx,
Jeremi Doyon-Roch
was three-for-three with a
walk, two doubles, seven RBI's and four runs scored.
The Lynx
beat Victoriaville 17-0 and will play their last game of the
round-robin portion of the tournament tomorrow against Brossard
at 18H00 at Trudeau Park.

The Senior
Lynx won there first game in the Senior Provincial tournament
29-1 against District 1 team Abitibi. Remel Cris-Ong pitched four
innings and Jonathan Pendenza one, giving up one run and one hit while striking out ten.
The Lynx play there next game tomorrow at 8H30 at park Trudeau
in Cote St-Luc.
