2011 - SENIOR TEAM UPDATE PAGE SENIOR TEAM SUMMARY 2011

In 2011, Bobby took the helm of our U16 Senior Lynx team and put together an awesome coaching staff including: Rafael Zapata & Livan Vargas, along with Ray Callari, a San Francisco Giant Baseball Scout & skills trainer.

Under Bobby's direction, the U16 NDG Senior Lynx team would go onto win not only one but two consecutive Senior Little League Canadian National Titles (2011 & 2012), with a combined record of 14-0 at National tournament play. Since the Senior League has begun play, back in 1961, Quebec has only represented Canada three times at the Senior League World Series. First time in 1987 by Valleyfield, QC and then in 2011 & 2012 by NDG Baseball.

2012 - SENIOR TEAM UPDATE PAGE SENIOR TEAM SUMMARY 2012
Bobby added Steve Monk to the coaching staff to replace the departed Rafael Zapata. At the National tournament the Senior Lynx continued to dominate going 7-0 for the tournament winning the National title. At the World Series, the NDG Senior Lynx gave Team Canada it's first win at the senior level since 2008. In their final game of the round-robin part of the tournament, the NDG Senior Lynx lost their game 3-2. However, a win would have propelled the Senior Lynx team into a semi-final game versus the team from California.

2013 - SENIOR TEAM UPDATE PAGE BIG LEAGUE TEAM SUMMARY 2013

In 2013, Bobby led the same team of young men up to the Big League level and onto another National tournament which was held in Windsor, ON. The Big League team did exceptionally well in the tournament going 3-2 in round-robin play. In the semi-finals, the NDG Lynx team beat the number one ranked Windsor team, who were 5-0 in round-robin play, 5-3 thanks to a stellar pitching performance by Liam Wyatt. However, in the championship game the Big League Lynx just ran out of gas and fell to British Columbia's Fraser Valley.
