RENOVATION OF LOYOLA PARKS
IN THE WORKS
Project
Start Date : September 2012
Renovations of both Loyola 1 and 2
parks is expected to take place in the fall of 2012. The project
is planned to include the installation at Loyola 1 of both
drainage and infield grass. Other plans include and installation
of a new fence in the outfield that would make the outfield
fence 300 ft away from home plate. Currently the fence lies 345
ft from home plate.
Loyola 2 is expected to be raised and the earth changed so that
rain would flow more easily off the baseball diamond.
